I usually plan what's coming to my shop months and months in advance. And then, other times, I'm bowled over with excitement by a new pattern and pop a little surprise in the shop. Today is all about the surprise. Friends, look:

This is the Building Blocks Drop sweater, and Brianna test knit it in my Targhee Sweater yarn. She chose the colorway Foxtail and used some Harrisville Designs Highland in a deep green for the contrast edging, which is absolute perfection.

I have fallen in love with designer Aimee Sher's new comfy-cozy-meets-perfectly-tailored sweater, the Building Blocks Drop. I provided yarn support for one of her testers, and Brianna's classically beautiful look has swept me away. (You can follow Brianna on Instagram as @lovinglygrown.)

It’s easy to stash for knitting later, and it arrives quickly enough to capture your excitement if you want to wear it this winter. (My preorders arrive in about 6 weeks.)
